Maine Moves Toward Marriage Equality

The house judiciary committee voted Tuesday that LD 1020, An Act to End Discrimination in Civil Marriage and Affirm Religious Freedom, "ought to pass."

The legislation moved forward with a vote of 11 to 3.

Now it heads to the full senate.
