Court keeps military ban intact during appeal

The U.S. military may continue discharging personnel under "Don't ask, don't tell" while it appeals a lower court decision striking down the policy as unconstitutional, according to the ruling by an appeals court panel Monday. The ruling is expected to increase pressure to pass a key bill containing repeal language when the Senate reconvenes after the midterm elections.
