Anderson Cooper interviews Michigan’s Assistant Attorney General Andrew Shirvell - who is harassing the new student body president of the University of Michigan – Chris Armstrong, a college student – because he’s gay.
He’s videotaping outside his house, following him around with signs, and posting pictures of the kid on his blog “Chris Armstrong Watch” saying that he’s a Nazi and “Satan’s Representative” on the student council.
His boss, Attorney General Mike Cox, said in a statement:
“All state employees have a right to free speech outside working hours. But Mr. Shirvell’s immaturity and lack of judgment outside the office are clear.”
