Pre-sales for the forthcoming album from American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert made it jump to number 1 on the Amazon.com sales list on Monday, putting the gay singer ahead of new releases by Barbra Streisand, Madonna, the Beatles, and Susan Boyle.
