GOP leaders, activists are set to attend high-profile LGBT events

Republican strategists, politicians and donors are flocking to some high-profile fundraising events to benefit groups such as the Log Cabin Republicans and the fight for marriage equality. The Log Cabin event will include appearances by top party committee chairmen, even though they are not supportive of many legislative agenda items favored by the LGBT community.
