Miss California USA Drops Carrie Prejean

Carrie Prejean is no longer Miss California.

Just one month after Donald Trump announced that Prejean would be allowed to keep her crowd, K2 Productions, the independent producers of the Miss California USA pageant, announced that Prejean had been stripped of her crown for continued breach of contract.

"This was a business decision, based solely on contract violations," Keith Lewis, executive director of K2 Productions, said in documents obtained by Fox News. "After our press conference in New York we had hoped we would be able to forge a better working relationship. However, since that time it has become abundantly clear that Carrie has no desire to fulfill her obligations under our contract and work together.”

Miss California 2008 Raquel Beezley, who went to work with Lewis in the wake of Prejean’s Miss USA scandal, confirmed Wednesday that first runner up Tami Farrell (pictured, right of Prejean) will replace Prejean as Miss California. She will be appearing on Larry King Live with Lewis Wednesday night.
