American Idol season two runner-up Clay Aiken got the cold shoulder when he swung by a taping last week. Aiken was allegedly trying to get some face time with Adam Lambert for a forthcoming duets album.According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Aiken -- the first Idol contestant to break from his management agreement with the show's producers, 19 Entertainment -- is none too popular in Idol circles. A source told the paper that Aiken wasn't even allowed face time with this season's favored winner.
A staff member told the Times, "'To say the least, it was tense around here when Clay showed up -- and boy, did they hustle him off the premises as fast as possible. If he didn't get the hint after that -- he never will.”
