Say No to Gay Marriage, Yes to Exploitive Sexual Images of Women

As the right-wing embraces Carrie Prejean for her anti-gay stance, one little thing they're forgetting is that Prejean, an unmarried women, has been busy pitching herself as a sex object. And not just by appearing on national television in a bikini. And not just by scoring herself some free breast implants.

Now is that biblically correct?

NOM: Carrie Prejean Doesn't Speak For Us!

Is the National Organization for Marriage backing away from Miss California Carrie Prejean? It'd be an easy assumption to make, given this statement: "A number of media sources have described Carrie Prejean as a spokesperson for the National Organization for Marriage. As we made clear at our press conference yesterday: Carrie appeared with NOM as a private citizen; she does not work for the National Organization for Marriage. She is a spokesperson for her own views, as anyone watching her can tell. We are grateful to Carrie Prejean for her willingness to stand up for marriage. We would love to work with Carrie in the future if she chooses, and we wish her well in all her future endeavors whatever she chooses. We're proud of her. Americans are proud of her. She is a remarkable young woman. Thank you, Carrie."

"My thought on civil unions? You know what, Greta? I don't have the answers to everything. I'm not running for political office."
- CARRIE PREJEAN, Miss California, when asked by Greta Van Susteren if she believes in civil unions for same-sex couples; Prejean said at the Miss USA pageant that she opposes gay marriage

Carrie Prejean Doesn't Have Answers About Civil Unions or Gay Adoption
Despite the National Organization for Marriage making clear that Carrie Prejean does not speak for them, Miss California continues her media tour.

Greta Van Susteran's show on Fox News, where she subjected viewers to a rambling interview about something she does not understand at all. Listen to Prejean, who calls her stance on marriage "not hateful, it's not discriminatory," declare herself "not a politician," which is the excuse she uses for not knowing where she stands on civil unions. Or gays adopting. Just traditional marriage, which is the only thing she believes she's a qualified expert on.
